When Designing enterprise software, it is easy for consistency throughout the application to slip. It creates a chain of problems and wastes development time, especially with a long-term projects requiring interactions.
I have been trying to find ways to work efficiently through communicating with developers. My ultimate goal is to do the final “pixel push and adjustments myself. (planning) Working with ReactJS developers, I need to provide them with a design library as the first step.
I check my design and pick up different components, and group them. If some elements are slightly different, I try to be consistent in the best way working towards fewest parts as possible.
I use Sketch app, Sketch app plugins, Zeplin connected to project Slack channels. When I have time, I research to find out more about creating Design systems tailored for our team. (following Airbnb design, google material Design, Microsoft Fabric Design system)
