Project:
It was the third major renewal project. The first phase was to update its look and feel without changing usability (user experience). My task as a designer was a part of updating the current UI, reducing visual elements to improve the burden of server request process for faster response.
Solutions:
To be able to achieve fast response for user’s action through either TV, Mobile or tablet, this cross-platform app requires efficiency to handle media. Learning from current experience, I worked with back-end programmers to understand how the design and interaction affect backend server requests. We were figuring out ways, and sometimes this required a change to the design itself. As a designer, these decisions I made affects how the user’s experience if the design and interactions changes.

I left the position after all the main design and experience decision had been made, and hand-held device app was released. TV app is coming and should look welcoming and immersive experience. Creating the atmosphere of excellent lean back experiences for a moment of audience's life. Large images are vibrant, and there are more than a half million images are all curated and made by in-house designers. I was responsible for production art direction work and manage designers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
