Pain point:
Organisations spend time, resources and cost for looking after business usage of its vehicles for compliance requirements. Drivers must log their drives manually for each trip, where it is for business or private, reporting to the company’s financial team for the Tax purposes.
Solutions:
The system automatically generates the business and private purpose usage of data to reduce the burden of employees. We provided a web app for admin and mobile app for each driver. A GPS tracks and records the route on the cloud server. The driver categorises whether it’s business or private use and the direction once, and the system learns if the driver takes the same routes for business later on.  A company admin person can manage vehicle, drivers and create more straightforward tax reports.
Design Challenges and mistakes:
Initially, it was a tough task to create UI + UX +IXD because of my Tax knowledge was limited. I designed this application considering two things: 1 ) users’ interaction process such as filling forms and getting the result on a data table, and 2 ) displaying generated information logical and easy to scan them.  The app was released in 5 weeks including the visual design, front-end, back-end codings. I realised that there were significant usability and interaction issues when I observed over the shoulders of my colleague.

We have been working on improving functionalities to maintain the user experiences without significant impact on our numbers of clients. It was my first experience building an app in such a short period.
Results:
While the development was still on the way, we have numbers of presentation meeting for different organisations  I suggested an interactive mobile prototype using InVision so that the client understand how it works visually.

I only had for 2 days to finish mobile designs so I had to make quick decisions for all the aspects of the app.
